Delete your data

Decluttr AI has no accounts, no login, and no email on file. You are identified only by an anonymous identifier stored on your device. You can erase that data at any time — here's how.

Fastest: delete from inside the app

If you still have Decluttr AI installed:

  1. Open the app and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete my data.
  3. Confirm. Your records are erased from our servers immediately.

This is instant and needs no email from you.

By request (if you've uninstalled)

Already removed the app? Email us and we'll delete your data for you:

Email a deletion request

So we can find the right records (we hold no name or email to look you up by), please include whichever of these you have:

  • The anonymous device identifier shown in the app under Settings → About, if you noted it before uninstalling.
  • The order ID of any Decluttr AI purchase (from your Apple or Google purchase history).

We respond within 30 days, as required by Art. 12(3) GDPR. Without one of the identifiers above we may be unable to locate any data tied to you.

What we delete

  • Your device identity records — the anonymous device entry and its App Attest / Play Integrity security material.
  • Your entitlement record — our cached copy of whether your install has Pro access.
  • Your analytics events — anonymous usage events are unlinked from your identifier so they can no longer be associated with you.

Photos, videos, contacts, and Vault contents are never uploaded, so there is nothing of that kind on our servers to delete — it has always stayed on your device.

What we must keep, and why

For a small set of records we have a legal obligation to retain even after a deletion request:

  • Purchase and subscription records — kept for up to 10 years to comply with Italian tax and accounting law, and to prevent fraud. These contain no name or email; they reference only the anonymous identifier and the store transaction.

This retention is permitted under Art. 17(3)(b) and (e) GDPR (compliance with a legal obligation). Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Deleting your data does not cancel your subscription

Your subscription is billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so deleting your data here won't stop future charges. Cancel separately:
